Ok,

thanks for all the advice. I am going to send the socks out today, and she will post a picture in 7 to 9 days time. Must admit, I am both more proud of and more anxious about these than any other socks I have ever knitted using yarn not hand dyed by me. Does that make any sense?

But I think she will like the Monkey items too. I tried to keep them at least a little functional, and they are certainly unusual. Thanks so much for letting me join. I now feel now joining the second round, there so other Monkey items there I have got an eye on!
