Monkeys Received!
I received my Monkey from the post office on Friday, I apologize for the delay in posting. Firstly, I want to give a huge round of applause and many, many thank yous to Ronnie. She had to try to get a package ready for a girl (me) with a long list of allergies and no LYS in her area during the Royal Mail postal strike. She pulled it off and I have a pair of Monkey socks of my very own and some really cute goodies. Ronnie also knit the cutest ballerina Monkey, which is now owned by my 12 yr. old who was very happy to claim it as her own and allow me to view it (due to some allergens of mine), as well as a gorgeous blue silk scarf for me! I can't wait to knit up Cookie A's Twisted Flower, which was the pattern in the package along with a whole bunch of other goodies :-D Look my yarn monkey is helping knit the Central Park Hoodie for NaKniSweMo.

Amazing Monkey package received
I received an absolutely awe-inspiring box full of Monkey goodies yesterday. I took a ton of photos, and I'll post some as soon as I can. For now, just let it be said that Jill was an incredible Monkey Pal. My socks are gorgeous and fit perfectly. I can't wait for sock weather to finally arrive! The many other wonderful things in the box....Well, here's one: Jill included a framed photo of Stephanie the Yarn Harlot holding my sock. I love it! And then there are the glass markers, and the little bag....If I start describing it all now, I'll never get to bed.
Thank-you Cindy!!

Thank-you for the awesome Monkey package!! the socks fit perfect, I love them, the crazier colors the better, and they are!! :) Cindy also included 2 free Cookie A patterns, and I have'nt made them yet, 3 balls of pretty blue Cascade Fixation, yummy chocolate, 2 mesh washing bags, and the monkey extras were cards, a puppet, clay pot kit and bead monkey face kit, so cute!! thanks again :)
I've had to re-start my 2nd monkey sock for my pal, I pulled out a needle that had stitches on it instead of the empty needle and I tried for hours too fix and just made it worse, i've finished the cuff and 2 repeats so i'm not too far behind, i'm working like mad too finish and send off :)

I've posted a box filled with monkey goodies to my pal yesterday. I'm hoping it gets there tomorrow or friday. And really hoping she likes what I sent her and that the socks fit.
I had a great time.
Thank you Rebecca for all the work putting together a wonderful swap.

P.S.: I'll post pics as soon as I know my partner got the package

Swap Package Received! :)
Wow! I received my MSS3 package in record time! The package came yesterday while I was at work... actually while I was on my way out the door for my break! Had I known, I would've stuck around a few more minutes. *g* I came back and noticed one of the bigger boxes was for ME. And it wasn't WORK related! Rock on!
At first I wasn't sure what it was, but then I remembered the email I got that morning, telling me to expect the package today. Duh, Manda. :D
Inside was a lovely assortment of goodies:

The socks, of course!! :) She used Phoenix Fiberworks Fetish Merino sock yarn in Victorian Violets (Ravelry Link, Etsy Link), and I have to say that the color couldn't scream "Manda" more! lol :)
Also included were the adorable sock monkey, Stretcho the Funky Monkey, a box of Puffs with a tumbling rollerblading monkey panel (very cool!), a Monkey notepad, a Mini Sunflower Garde, a pack of Goobers and BunchaCrunch, and the movie Dunston Checks In (LOL.. I haven't seen this movie in YEARS). Also included was the Twisted Flower by Cookie A, and a skein of the most scrumptious Sundara Yarn in Cobalt over Mediterranean.
Thank you, Monkey Sock Swap Pal! I've been supremely spoiled! :)
