But...
It looked more blue when it was a skein...
On the left with a flash, on the right without, under the day light bulb, and in my opinion, truer.
So what should I do guys? I kinda hoped this would be more semi-solid in tones of blue and it's varigated from dark indigo (almost black) right through electric blue, baby blue, grey, and a very pale "dove-grey white" (Yeah, I know I wouldn't get a job naming paints...)

I think it's beautiful! If you're my pal keep right on knitting!!
very purty....thank you for my sock
I think it's lovely!
I love the colours in this yarn, and so will your monkey pal.
I think it looks great. If your pal likes blue, I think this will work and they'll like the complex color spectrum of the yarn...if that makes any sense.
Its beautiful!!
I think it is very pretty, looks great
If you absolutely hate the color (which will make knitting with it a drag), you could try Blue Moon's Watercolor Waves or Shaded Solids (I think those are the names), which have a lot less color variation. Personally, however, I think the yarn is beautiful. It adds a lot of movement to a pattern that already moves and flows. But you have to do what is right for you. Fortunately, you have plenty of time to make a decision.
I think that it looks great and would be perfect with a pair of jeans.
i think THEYRE AWESOME! beautiful!
