Bermuda Monkeys knit in Massachusetts and New Hampshire

I am to the foot to my first Monkey Sock...I spent the long weekend knitting on both my Monkey Swap sock and a christmas gift for my niece. I am making her Squirrel Mitts (fingerless) from Hello Yarn's Adrian - free patterns. The monkey's are easier, but the Mitts kept calling to me.

I also made a bag for my swap pal - in colors that coordinate with the socks I am knitting. The bag is a Schelp Bag and I made it smaller than the pattern to make it "sock friendly". It should be a good bag for keeping a sock or other small project stored in while working. I hope my pal likes it, on the yarn front I am heading to the VT Sheep and Wool Saturday to find some yarn for her, she buys so much Indie yarn that I am not sure I can find something she does not already have in her stash. Is that too much of a clue?

That yarn is beautiful! And a bag, too! Your pal is very lucky - I love those colors. Your knitting is awesome, too. :)

Great presentation -- monkey swap partners would be lucky to receive any of the socks I've seen on the blog
